Isaiah (53:1) grieved that God's people refused to believe his warnings. Jesus and the Apostle Paul said the same (John 12:38 & Rom 10:16). This video is a FINAL WARNING to today's Christians.
content preaching the simple gospel and will fall into heresy" - David Wilkerson
Jesus, Paul, and James all used the law to plow the heart of the self-righteous and reveal their need for grace.
Mixing law, works, and grace is like mixing medicines. Or powerful chemicals. It’s a bad idea. In the new covenant, we are under grace, not law (Rom. 6:14–15). The law is good, but it’s no good for the believer (1 Tim. 1:9):
To Paul Ellis (alias 'Lou') - it is clear that you refused to view my video (The Apostle Paul's Gospel) through to the end before criticising me. You then used this medium (Substack) to promote your heretical Bible - 'The Grace Bible' . Shame on your for LYING as to who you are and then promoting your fake Bible despite you refusing others to do the same here on your website! This is called HYPOCRISY!
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, HYPOCRITES!...33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, HOW CAN YE ESCAPE THE DAMNATION OF HELL?" (Matt 23:29, 33)
Firstly, I'd bet (if I was a gambler) that you fail to address the following verses related to FRUSTRATING and then FAILING of God's 'grace' in your heresy Bible:
"I do not FRUSTRATE THE GRACE OF GOD..." (Galatians 2:21 KJV). Yes, God's GRACE can be FRUSTRATED by Christians if they wilfully abuse what His grace has been designed to do by continuing to offend God by remaining disobedient to His words.
"Looking diligently LEST ANY MAN FAIL OF THE GRACE OF GOD..." (Hebrews 12:15 KJV). Yes, if Christians persist in FRUSTRATING God's grace, a point is reached where they can FAIL of God's grace - meaning, they have now proven they are no longer worthy of being allowed into Heaven due to their persistent rebellion towards God.
God's 'JUDGEMENT' upon them is not so much 'fire from Heaven' to destroy them (i.e. 2 Kings 1:10) or even sending their enemies among them (Deut. 28:48) as recorded in the Old Testament. It is obvious to me that Christians (like Paul Ellis) have themselves "...hardened their own heart towards God" - therefore God eventually finalizes the hardening of their heart so that those like Paul (alias Lou) can never enter into God's kingdom. Below are the verses that confirm what I say:
"While it is said, To day [in the Church Age] if ye will hear his [God's] voice, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS, as in the provocation." (Hebrews 3:15)
Obviously, Paul (alias Lou) has both FRUSTRATED and then FAILED of God's grace in his rebellious acts in the past - so God has had no other choice but to continue the hardening of Paul's heart for him:
"Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and WHOM HE WILL HE HARDENETH." (Romans 9:18)
This "hardening" of Paul's heart can be seen by the mocking terms he uses to try to neutralize the scripture verses in the Book of James regarding "WORKS":
QUOTE: "Mixing law, works, and grace is like mixing medicines. Or powerful chemicals. It’s a bad idea. In the new covenant, we are under grace, not law (Rom. 6:14–15). The law is good, but it’s no good for the believer (1 Tim. 1:9):" (Paul Ellis)
Given that anyone who has been truly "born-again" (John 3:3-8) and has received their NEW HEART and NEW SPIRIT from God (Ezek 36:26) will then desire to mature spiritually from the "babe in Christ" stage to the "good soldier of Jesus Christ" - as described in my video. These maturing stages are necessary to then be able to acquire the various 'gifts of the Spirit' so as to DO the same WORKS that Christ did - to demonstrate to others that such a Christian is indeed a "son or daughter of God" by the WORKS they can do that are the same (or GREATER) than what Christ did:
"And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY SONS AND DAUGHTERS, saith the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:18)
"Verily, verily, I [Jesus] say unto you, He that believeth on me, THE WORKS THAT I DO SHALL HE DO ALSO; and GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL HE DO; because I go unto my Father." (John 14:12)
"Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John [the Baptist] what things ye have seen and heard; how that the BLIND SEE, the LAME WALK, the LEPERS ARE CLEANSED, the DEAF HEAR, the DEAD ARE RAISED [up], to THE POOR THE GOSPEL IS PREACHED." (Luke 7:22)
Given that Paul Ellis has a demonstrably hardened heart; and from this rather 'sick' spiritual 'condition', God has allowed him to author his own (corrupt) 'bible', I strongly advise anyone from even opening a page from such a devilish book.
"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy [the need for The Law to be observed and that "WORKS" are necessary for Salvation - Eph. 2:10 KJV], God shall take away his part out of the [Lamb's] book of life [Rev. 21:27], and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Rev 22:19)
If you believe I a wrong here Paul (alias Lou) maybe consider removing YOUR Bible from sale and confessing your sins of REMOVING GOD'S WORDS from YOUR Bible - thereby CORRUPTING God's word and subverting the faith of others who are also "weak in the faith" as you are (Romans 14:1).
Well said Alan and well put together so that we can all understand, but a very hard road to follow as we search for holiness and to please our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our wonderful saviour. May we all be blessed and protected in our journey.
