Jesus Christ will use the Apostle Paul's Gospel of Salvation to determine if Christians have OBEYED his Gospel or not. This podcast reveals what Christians are to comply with to obtain Salvation.

There is only one gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). It is called the gospel of God, or the gospel of the grace of God, to emphasize that it originates in God and his grace (Acts 20:24; Romans 15:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:2; 1 Thessalonians 2:8; 1 Timothy 1:11). It is called the gospel of Christ, or the gospel of the glory of Christ, to emphasize that it comes only through Jesus Christ (Romans 15:19; 2 Corinthians 2:12; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Corinthians 9:13). It is called the gospel of the kingdom, the gospel of salvation and the gospel of peace, to emphasize that those who believe it enter God’s kingdom and receive eternal salvation and peace (Matthew 9:35; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 6:15).
Galatians 1:6-9 KJV
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Firstly, in regards to 'The Gospel of God' - I see this as being the Gospel that God gave to Paul - in much the same manner as God gave John the Book of the Revelation. In other words, when God gave John the Revelation, it became the Revelation of the Apostle John. So, the Gospel of God became the Apostle Paul's Gospel that Jesus Christ will use to judge Christians by at the Judgment.
The "Gospel of Christ" solely relates to Christ's:
- being 'The Word' with God prior to His coming to the earth as Jesus
- being born of a virgin
- living a life on Earth - as the carpenter's son
- commencing a ministry of healings, miracles and opposing religious people
- being falsely accused by religious leaders
- being murdered on a cruel Roman cross
- His body being placed in a tomb
- rising from the dead after three days and nights had passed
- revealing Himself to over 500 hundred people AFTER His resurrection
- Ascending into Heaven.
This is the Gospel (or 'good news') of Christ.
My KJV did not relate to the "gospel of the glory of Christ"
The "gospel of the kingdom" is quite different. We are talking about what constitutes God's kingdom in Heaven, and what constitutes God's kingdom on Earth. Both contain "good news" - but it's too extensive to go into here. We can't ignore Hell in this neither.
My KJV Bible does not return anything for the "he gospel of salvation".
My understanding of the "gospel of peace" refers to establishing peace with God with His children on Earth. Obviously, if Christians are still sinning, they won't have "peace with God' as they will be seen by Him as rebels.
If Christians truly "walk in the spirit" (Romans 8:1) and do the will of God (Mark 3:35) - then they have peace with God. That's how I see it, because that's how it is with me.
I hope that this answers your questions - as a quick response, Larry.
Well, you make some interesting points. I take Salvation very seriously, as we all should. I always try to be conservative in my interpretation of scripture. The "Once saved always saved" idea is very troubling to me. I feel strongly that I have the Holy Spirit. I don't believe that we can lose the Holy Spirit, but maybe we can lose Salvation.

*The Holy Spirit, having given believers new life, remains with them in an unbroken union. The Spirit dwells within them permanently (Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 6:19; 2 Timothy 1:14; 1 John 3:24; 1 John 4:13).
*It is impossible, therefore, to have the Spirit without having Christ. Equally it is impossible to have a relationship with God through the Spirit but not through Christ (Acts 2:38; Romans 8:9-11).
I personally believe that once saved always saved promotes laziness and being complacent and that all has devastating consequences for spiritual growth.
The teaching is also very troubling to me. It seems someone gets saved and then goes on to hear somewhat random sermons. The foundation's should be taught immediately about prayer, repenting and confession and the Holy Spirit. That will lead to being a Disciple.
And doing Bible studies is not necessarily the answer, unless the Bible studies are meaningful. I have done over 200 Bible studies and it took my own personal search (Bilble study) to finally have a passionate relationship with God.
I completely agree with all of your comments. It's nice to find a fellow believer!
Yes, most Christians today don't take their Salvation seriously or place any value on it. As my recent research revealed, Jesus says that Salvation is CONDITIONAL upon us OBEYING the requirements of the WARNING contained in the gospels by Jesus Himself.
Hi Alan
Does Jesus have a Gospel?
Yes Larry.
Jesus speaks about the "Gospel of the Kingdom" in several locations:
Matthew 4:23
Matthew 9:35
Matthew 24:14
Mark 1:14
Mark 1:15
I hope this answers your question, Larry.

If Christians FAIL to recognise and the OBEY them, they have NO Salvation:
"But they [today's Christians] have NOT ALL OBEYTED THE GOSPEL. For Esaias [Isaiah 53:1] saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?" (Romans 10:16)
Blessings, brother!
